AJ opened the game strong, scoring 11 of his 27 points in the 1st quarter already. He showed great pace and patience, understanding when to slow down before bursting to the rim to finish. At the end of the 1st, he even got the entire arena buzzing when… He left Cody Williams in the dust before detonating the dunk between multiple defenders. That was impressive! And what I really liked seeing was Khris Middleton, Trae Young, Alex Sarr and Anthony Davis all in the front row to support the youngins. This is a sign to me that AD is invested in this team and maybe he’ll stay in Washington after all.
