The group I've been working with for some time is called the Edoardo Liberati 'Synthetics' Trio, and is comprised of Riccardo Gola on double bass and Riccardo Marchese on drums. The project's goal is to offer an entirely original repertoire that fits within the canons of contemporary jazz and follows the musical ideas and poetics of artists such as Gilad Hekselman, Lage Lund, Brad Mehldau, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and others.
