He was once a student with no desk to study, that needs to walk miles to attend his classes. The difficulties didn’t stop him. Now he has about 40 scientific researches, over 350 scientific articles and over 100 national and global awards. In his speech, Yusuf Baran tells us how the struggles in his life turned him into a respected and succesfull man. He mentioned three mannerisms of succesfull people ; dreaming, hardworking and never giving up. He emphasizes the importance of dreaming by saying “ If other people believe in your dream, your dreams aren’t big enough.” With all the memories and experiences he became a guide for succes.Listening to his inspiring speech will light the way of many young people and encourage them to follow their biggest dreams. He was born on December 11, 1977. He graduated from Dicle University, Faculty of Education, Department of Biology Teaching in 1998. He received his master's degree in 2002 and his doctorate degree from METU in 2006. He worked as a faculty member at Izmir Institute of Technology between 2007-2015. In national and international meetings/congresses/forums on science, technology, diplomacy (USA, Brazil, China, Pakistan, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Israel, Germany, Chile, Sudan, Greece, Macedonia, Thailand, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Netherlands , Russia, Malaysia, South Africa, etc.) gave over 200 lectures. He was invited to very important meetings and gave conferences such as the United Nations, European Parliament, World Science Forum, Baku Forum, World Economic Forum, World Life Sciences Forum, Science Diplomacy, Science Leadership. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran has around 40 scientific research projects supported by various institutions, more than 350 published scientific articles, papers presented at national and international congresses and one book. Dr. Baran has more than 100 awards given by national and international institutions.
