Thundercat- ‘Overseas’-Koko; London-04.04.24 Thurs. (2nd of 4 nights in a row.)

(I had to delete the former video of a song of his; it was NOT the song I intended. That song was badly filmed and very shaky for half of the song, so I’m sorry.) However, I’ve got a better filmed song from the same show. Coming from a time machine from the mid-70’s, bass playing legend Thundercat brings the Stanley Clarke/George Duke vibe to the present and wows the crowd at Camden’s Koko with his precision bass playing as well as his amazing proficient band. Starting with the 2nd of 4 nights set with a bang. Stephen Lee Bruner, for it is he, shows us his careworn bass playing and soothing jazz crooning skills to an enraptured crowd. A rare visit from the harmonic Jazz Rock Prince and one we hope will not take such long gaps until he returns; we welcome his soothing interplay and hope for a speedy return but until then we have this to cherish.
