One year ago, we gave it all up — our jobs, routines, and safety net — for one shot at freedom on the road. We crossed borders, broke down, laughed, cried, and truly lived. But now, we're back in Norway... and honestly, it feels a little strange. In this episode of our van life journey, we slow down and settle into small-town life in beautiful Rosendal. What happens after full-time travel? We're about to find out. We reconnect with community, create new routines, and explore the simple joys of being still. I go fishing for Norwegian lobster with a wild local fisherman, skateboard through the town, and get a surprise tractor ride — with a live band on the trailer. Nina re-joins me in our van Sooty for the summer, and we take a swim in the magnificent fjord. We also check out my new workplace at the local wine bar.
