Twisted_Metal

Twisted Metal is one of the most personal songs I've ever written. People often ask me about the accidents... "What was it like?" "What went through your mind?" "How did you survive?" The truth is... This. This song is what it was like. Not just the twisted metal or the killer machines—but everything that came after. The jump scares. The panic. The silence that somehow feels dangerous. The constant feeling that disaster is just around the corner. The invisible battle between what your mind knows... and what your body still believes. Written from my own experiences with life-threatening accidents, years of uncertainty, and the lasting effects of trauma, this isn't just a story about surviving—it's about learning to live after survival. If you've ever jumped at a sound no one else noticed, replayed moments you wish you could forget, or carried invisible scars that no one could see, I hope this song helps you feel understood. And if you've never experienced PTSD, I hope for the next few minutes you can step inside the mind of someone who has. Because when people ask me, "What was it like?" This... is the closest answer I can give.
