With the madate of supporting causes that enhance educational and social opportunities for women, girls and brides in need of financial assistance , as well as assisting in the building of women Mikvahs. Annually on her Yartzheit (the day of her passing) the Rebbe would encourage donations in the amount of 470 (the numerical value of her name) This past year alone Keren Hachomesh has helped hundreds of individuals including single mothers and their dependents . After school programs for girls and countless organizations whose mandates enhance the quality of life and opportunity for Jewish women as well as grants in the construction of women’s mikvahs around the world .
