We received a gift in the mail from one of our viewers in Arizona
If you’ve been following our journey these past few years on social media, you’ll know that the Sacramento History Museum has over 2.6 million followers on TikTok, over 2.4 million YouTube subscribers, and approaching one million Facebook followers. Our museum has become internationally known for videos from our print shop exhibit. Social media has connected us with people from all over the world and we sometimes get wonderful gifts from followers. We received a large box in the mail of an assortment of letterpress items from James in Arizona. Many of these items we did not have in our print shop previously so these items will help expand on what we can talk about with visitors. At the end of this video, Howard letterpress printed both sides of the recycled woodcut using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852. #unboxing #history #museum #sacramento #letterpress #printingpress #printing #oldsacramento #sachistorymuseum #asmr #printmaking #printing #printshop
