My Dream Creator Desk Setup Build & Tour

Last year my entire YouTube studio was a tiny desk, a small 3D printer, and a camera balanced wherever I could fit it! So, I decided to change that. In this video I show how I built my dream creator desk setup — a workspace designed for engineering projects, 3D printing, filming YouTube videos, studying, and late-night creative ideas. The goal was to create a dark, moody workspace with a black wall, walnut panels, and warm lighting that could transform depending on what I’m filming. 00:00 Intro 00:44 New setup shots 01:33 The Desk 03:26 The Wall problem 04:59 The pegboard 05:56 The focal point (Hexgrid) 09:15 Monitor arm and desk matt 10:14 The keyboard coincidence 11:56 The mouse, monitor & chair 12:31 cable management 13:51 Bambu lab H2S 14:19 The duality hexgrid and outro The highlight of the setup is the custom hex grid lighting system ‪@AndyHuotCreations‬ built with addressable LEDs and powered by WLED. It can create thousands of lighting effects, sync with other lights in the room, and change colors depending on the scene I’m filming. Check it out here This desk setup is more than just gear — it’s a space where I design CAD models, build 3D printed projects, film YouTube videos, and bring ideas to life. If you’re into desk setups, 3D printing, engineering builds, maker projects, or creator workspaces, this is the setup I’ve been dreaming of building. And this is only the beginning. In the next video I’ll show how I built the hexagon LED grid, including the 3D printing, wiring, soldering, and WLED programming that makes the effects possible.
