The Surprising Benefits of Using an Oil Catch Can in Your Toyota Tacoma

👋 In todays installation video, it's time to work on the 4th generation Toyota Tacoma and add an oil catch can! An oil catch can is a great product especially for turbo engines as it is used to capture oil vapor and condensation that are blown past the piston rings (known as blow by) and out of the positive crankcase ventilation system. This will help separate oil and moisture and trap them in the can allowing clean air to pass back into the intake manifold. It will prevent that oil from re entering the engines intake manifold and potentially causing issues like carbon build up on the intake valves which can reduce engine performance. This is a super simple and easy installation to help with performance and prolong the life of your engine! For the 4th generation Toyota Tacoma, it's basically a plug and play system. The bracket is a direct bolt on with the cavity on the driver side of the engine bay and the tubes can hooked up in less than five minutes!
