Òrìṣà Ẹgbẹ́, the òrìṣà that harmonizes spiritual and material life and facilitates socialization

Ẹgbẹ́ is the òrìṣà of social and spiritual socialization who came into existence possessing the Àṣẹ for creating and preserving the equilibrium in human relationships between two extremities, between two parallel universes – ayé and ọ̀run. The term ẹgbé ayé relates to the community we belong to in the visible world, while our ẹgbẹ́ ọ̀run directs and determines the stability, quality, and extent of human achievements in ayé. The òrìṣà Ẹgbẹ́, who is alternatively called Ẹgbẹ́ Aráagbó, which may be translated as "Inhabitants of the forest" or "Inhabitants of the world beyond", alleviates and eases the spiritual and/or material suffering of worshippers.
