First Flight of 2024 in Fokker DVII -1 june 24

This it the first flight of 2024. N7756J is a full scale Replica of the WW1 German fighter the Fokker DVII on display at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, NY. The home built aircraft has many original instruments and is as historically accurate except the engine. The engine is a Ranger 6-440-5 200 hp engine out of a Fairchild PT-26. The engine was inverted so that the cylinders would be on top of the crankshaft to resemble the original engine.
