Peak to King Pigeon Pose | Yoga Flow | Yoga Backbend
Hello yogis! Ever wanted to work on your backbend practice but found it difficult to see flexibility improvement? In this peak posture video, we will not only work on building to King Pigeon (Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana) we will also practice exercises to help open shoulders, chest, and hips. In multi-level classes, postures are mostly focused on a variety of postures, however not all the movements are designed to prepare your body for deeper back bends (spinal extension). In this 50min class, we will incorporate spinal extension, hip opening and shoulder opening into our practice to continuously build on flexibility throughout our practice! Props you will need: a wall a long strap a block While this class is focused on reaching our final peak posture, you will also benefit from the exercises we do in the practice for opening the entire body.
