嗨大家好 我是正在美國生活的may 紐約生活豐富 多采多姿 大開眼界 但長期待下來的挑戰可不少 今天我們focus 的主題是「簽證」 尤其在川普的執政期間 海外留學生更是面臨諸多困難…. 這集我們不僅訪問到在學&畢業生觀點 更採訪律師和用不同途徑取得簽證的O1 talent 我們繼續看下去！ 在面對這些困難的時候 我心中就會跳出一個問題 為什麼那麼想留在美國？ 有些人是因為這邊薪水高很多 不過這裡生活成本也很高 而且又離鄉背井 所以不是只有大家看到的美好面向 當時候離開台灣 是因為自己有經歷很難過的低潮期 不僅是作為創作者的低潮期 還有感情上的難關 再加上自己有留學夢 所以就來美國了 待了兩年我發現自己開始有變化了 英文講得流利了 不害怕面對外國人了 交友圈變廣闊了 （不同文化背景、不同產業的 以前都在健身圈 思想上也變得很open minded 這些都是非常寶貴的經驗 雖然學歷不確保工作 但至少 學生簽證給我的是一個入場券 至於要不要留在美國 或回台灣 要找給人打工 還是自行創業 每個的理想答案都不盡相同 老實說 目前我還沒有完全搞定簽證問題 前方的道路還是未知 迷茫的 但至少 我保持開放的心胸 僅管政策變動 我仍試圖 做好事先準備 把能探索的路徑都先了解 為自己開創多元非單一的可能性 從跟不同的人交流的過程中 我看到了每個人的毅力 熱忱 更開拓了我的眼界 或許前方的阻力 更激發了自己更多的力量 未來的路 掌握在自己手中 不論未來結果如何 都要為不後悔的將來努力一波！ Tao Lin 美國簽證與移民律師資訊⬇️ 美國達理律師事務所 TLA Law, Attorneys at Law, PLLC FB group at   / tlinlaw   林律師聯絡信箱：[email protected] Ellie IG account : elyao_art Hey everyone, I’m May — currently living in the U.S.! 🇺🇸 Life in New York is exciting and full of new experiences, but living here long-term also comes with many challenges. Today’s focus is on “visas.” Especially during Trump’s administration, international students have faced even more difficulties... Let’s dive in! 🎥 Whenever things get tough, I often ask myself — “Why do I want to stay in the U.S. so much?” Some people stay for higher salaries, but the cost of living is also much higher — and being away from home isn’t easy. It’s not as glamorous as it looks from the outside. I left Taiwan after going through a really tough time — a low point both in my creative career and personal life. I’d always dreamed of studying abroad, so I came to the U.S. After two years, I’ve changed a lot: I speak English more confidently, I’m no longer afraid to talk to foreigners, and my circle has expanded beyond the fitness world — across different cultures and industries. It’s been a truly eye-opening experience. 🌎 A degree doesn’t guarantee a job, but having a student visa gave me an entry ticket to try. Whether I stay in the U.S., return to Taiwan, work for others, or start my own business — everyone’s ideal path is different. Honestly, I haven’t fully solved my visa situation yet. The future is still uncertain and sometimes confusing, but I’m keeping an open mind. Even with policy changes, I’m preparing in advance — exploring every possible route and building multiple options for myself. Through conversations with others, I’ve seen so much determination and passion, and it’s inspired me to keep pushing forward.
