How I Learned COLORED PENCILS as a Beginner in 5 STEPS | Trying Woomer Art Colored Pencils

I had never touched a colored pencil in my life. As an oil painter trained in classical techniques at an art academy in Italy, I decided to dedicate 5 days to learning colored pencils completely from scratch, one concept per day, all applied to a single drawing of an apple. The biggest difference I found is that in oils you always start from the darks. In colored pencils instead, you start from the lightest colors and build gradually, though the principle of working in thin layers and increasing pressure over time is something both mediums share. What genuinely surprised me was how rich and luminous the colors become with multiple layers, each new layer doesn't cover what's underneath, it amplifies it!
