Just as we have physical ears, we have spiritual ears where God speaks to us. Many times, God will speak things that contradict what we see with our eyes. That’s why we have to walk by faith and not by sight. People may tell you that you’ll never get well, circumstances may look like you’ll never get out of debt, never meet the right person, or never accomplish your dreams. But if you listen with your spiritual ears, you’ll hear a voice saying, “Healing is coming. You will lend and not borrow. New doors are about to open.” In a drought, God will talk to you about rain. In lack, He’ll talk to you about abundance. When you feel insignificant, like you’ll never make anything out of your life, He’ll talk to you about greatness.
