Nostalgia Spectrum: La abadia del crimen (Spain)

La Abadía del Crimen (The Abbey of Crime) is a legendary 1987 ZX Spectrum adventure game created by Paco Menéndez and Juan Delcán. Based on Umberto Eco's novel The Name of the Rose, it tasks players with guiding Friar William and his novice, Adso, through a strict monastic routine while secretly investigating a series of murders. (Wikipedia) Playing it i can see you would need to know Spanish but other that that its a very impressive game which i enjoyed playing, i can see the other monks are not very forgiving having beat me up for not answering their questions or requests 😉 I can recommend getting one of the translated versions of the game as I'm sure at certain times you are needed to perform monastery duties or get killed (punishment is severe im wondering if this is the cause of the murders 😉 ).
