RECORRIENDO LA VÍA DOBLE del RAMAL PEYRANO-LUDUEÑA

En el video más extenso publicado por éste canal recorremos el tramo de doble vía del ramal Peyrano-Ludueña de la Línea Mitre, un lugar que diariamente registra un intenso tráfico de trenes - mayormente de cargas - El ramal originario - del Ferro Carril Central Argentino - nace en la localidad de Peyrano (en el sur de la provincia de Santa Fe, a pocos km del límite con Buenos Aires ) y se extiende por 72 kilometros hasta barrio Ludueña en Rosario dónde termina al confluir sobre la vía Rosario-Córdoba en proximidades del Cabin 8. De los 72 kilometros del trazado, 60 son de vía simple y a partir de Soldini los últimos 12 poseen vía doble. Iniciado el recorrido junto a la señal de entrada (lado Sur) a Estación Soldini, encontramos el nacimiento de la vía doble (Km 60) Soldini aloja una base operativa de la empresa Trenes Argentinos Cargas Línea San Martín que cuenta con instalaciones para revisión y alistamiento del material rodante, mesa giratoria y encontramos la presencia abrumadora de las locomotoras de origen chino CRRC, y algunas veteranas ALCO RSD-16 equipadas con mandíbula. Ya en Pérez, vemos un corte en la doble vía, dónde la circulación por vía ascendente está interrumpida entre el Km 62 y Cabin 9 (Km 65,8) debido a la caída del puente de la ascendente en abril de 2022, del cúal sólo sobrevive un tramo corto del tablero muy dañado y en total estado de abandono. Llegando a Cabin 9, encontramos el limite de concesión, a partir de ahi la vía permanece bajo control del concesionario Nuevo Central Argentino hasta su fin, y éste sector es el que registra más tráfico diario, debido a que del del lado izquierdo el ramal conecta con la doble vía a Casilda y del derecho con la doble vía a Retiro, por lo que además de los cargas de TAC y NCA suelen verse ocasionalmente formaciones de FerroExpreso Pampeano y el único tren de pasajeros que actualmente corre por el Mitre: el servicio Retiro-Rosario Norte y viceversa. Los últimos 6 Km del ramal discurren por Rosario, dónde encontramos la última estación del ramal : Barrio Vila (Km 70,5) hoy inactiva y usada como vivienda y finalmente en medio de paupérrimos asentamientos a ambos lados de la vía, el ramal termina acoplándose en barrio Ludueña a la vía doble Rosario-Córdoba, enlace controlado por el cercano Cabin 8 (ubicado en el Km 5,5 del corredor a Córdoba). The original branch – of the Central Argentine Railway – begins in the town of Peyrano (in the south of the province of Santa Fe, a few kilometers from the border with Buenos Aires) and extends for 72 kilometers to the Ludueña neighborhood in Rosario, where it ends by joining the Rosario-Córdoba line near Cabin 8. Only a short section of the badly damaged deck survives, completely abandoned. Upon reaching Cabin 9, we find the concession limit; from there, the line remains under the control of the concessionaire Nuevo Central Argentino until its end. This section registers the highest daily traffic because, on the left side, the branch connects with the double track to Casilda, and on the right with the double track to Retiro. Therefore, in addition to TAC and NCA freight trains, FerroExpreso Pampeano trains and the only passenger train currently running on the Mitre line—the Retiro-Rosario Norte service and vice versa—are occasionally seen. The last 6 km of the branch line run through Rosario, where we find the last station: Barrio Vila (Km 70.5), now inactive and used as housing. Finally, amidst impoverished settlements on both sides of the track, the branch line connects in the Ludueña neighborhood to the Rosario-Córdoba double track, a link controlled by the nearby Cabin 8 (located at Km 5.5 of the corridor to Córdoba).
