Does MixBox still make sense? Single vendor or "Best of Breed"?

MixBox is an excellent multi-effects plugin with 72 built in FXs. It’s powerful, easy to use and great value, and yet there’s still debate around using “best of breed” effects plugins from multiple vendors. Where does this leave IK Multimedia and their strategy for effects processing? Furthermore IK has T-Racks 6 with newer plugins that were just released! If you acquire IK Multimedia in a bundle you can save a fortune. Often the price of 1 plugin like MixBox ($149) it’s cheaper tom buy an entire bundle for $199 - about the price of just one plugin. Why so cheap for dozens of high quality plugins and VSTs? In this video I walk through some of the BEST plugins and virtual instruments in the product line. I bought the Max 4 Studio Pro bundle a year ago and it includes almost everything IK sells. It’s incredible value, but do you need or use all that’s included?
