You don't have to choose between Business and Ministry

Free Faith & Strategy Scriptures for your business: 👉 https://faithandstrategy.com Are You Called to Business & Ministry? Acts 18:3 gets treated as background detail. It isn't. Paul made tents. That single fact contains a structural argument about how ministry, business, and calling actually fit together. Most teaching on this passage stops at "he worked to fund the ministry." That reading is not wrong. It's just shallow, and it leaves the real architecture hidden. This video maps three distinct models of kingdom work, each with its own scriptural basis, its own sustainability constraints, and its own internal logic. Model 1: Plain Business (Proverbs 31:16-18) Model 2: Pure Ministry (1 Corinthians 9:14 / Numbers 18:20) Model 3: The Integration Model (Acts 18:1-5) The integration model is where most of the confusion lives. The usual explanation treats it as two parallel tracks running simultaneously. That's not what the text shows. In Corinth, the business and the ministry were structurally co-dependent. The tent shop gave Paul relational access, embedded presence, credibility in a Greco-Roman context, and a platform that preaching alone could not have opened. Pull the business out and the ministry loses its reach. Pull the ministry out and the business loses its mission. Two diagnostic questions at the end of the video will tell you which model you're actually operating in. If you've been sitting with the business-or-ministry tension for any length of time, this is the framework that should have come earlier.
