The history of humanity has seen many attempts to build the so-called "just" planned economy, which would implement the ideas of a socialist society and the gradual transition to communism. When the state, not the market, determines how many and what specific goods and services are needed by the population, as well as their value. The USSR, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, communist China, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and a number of African countries built planned economies. But this ultimately ended in tragedies. In some places, it led to the dissolution of countries like the USSR, in others to decline and terrible poverty, famine (such as in North Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Cuba, Venezuela), and elsewhere communist governments were forced to shift their economies from socialist to capitalist paths to save themselves from decline (like Vietnam and China). Ultimately, the latter managed to achieve significant economic successes, which even came to be called a "miracle." Although it will only be a miracle if they refuse the political dictatorship of their communist parties.
