Defeat Masking in your mixes! | Checking out Fuser by Mastering the Mix

Masking in audio is like when a loud noise at a party makes it hard to hear your friend talking. The loud noise "masks" your friend's voice, so you can't hear it well. In audio, it's when one sound makes it tough to hear another sound that's happening at the same time or very close. So, just like at a noisy party, some sounds can hide or cover up other sounds in audio. This is something we as engineers have to handle all the time when it comes to mixing and arrangement. What can we do to solve this? In the Past, EQ was the answer, but with out automation, that eq move is constant, when really we only need to undo masking when two sources are playing at the same time and in the same frequency range.
