2015 Toyota Camry XSE: Full Review

Hello, and welcome to CarConfections! Today, we are taking a very detailed look at the comprehensively refreshed 2015 Toyota Camry XSE. In this Full Review, we will be covering all Camry's including the LE, SE, XSE and XLE plus covering performance / mpg data, distinct styling cues, interior technology and cargo capacity and much more. For 2015, Toyota put its best selling sedan on the knife again for a very comprehensive refresh. Even though this is technically a refresh, Toyota says that the only exterior piece that carried over was the roof, thus resulting in a completely new look for the Camry. Increased sportiness was the major theme of the redesign and the new styling reflects this as it appears to mix styling cues from both the Avalon and Corolla. The 14' Camry SE made up 45% of all sales, so in response Toyota has added a new XSE trim. Both the SE and XSE will both have a unique mesh grille but the XSE will have 18" aluminum wheels, firmer shocks, higher spring rates, and a retuned steering system. The interior, while similar to the outgoing Camry, features better quality materials and an available 4.2" TFT display in the instrument panel. One area that Toyota didn't change was the powertrain. The 178hp 2.5L I-4 and the 268hp 3.5L V-6 both carry over. All models will have a 6 speed automatic transmission.
