Small Cost, Big Improvement in Sound Quality: Sound Deadening Toyota Matrix Doors AmazonBasics

Ever since I bought my 2005 Toyota Matrix, I was a bit irritated with the amount if road noise. I was debating between adding an amp for the door speakers or sound deadening material. I purchased some Amazon Basics Car Sound Deadener, 18″ x 32″ (9-Piece) https://a.co/d/1z70wdZ and installed it in all the doors. I found it on sale and paid only $40, (though the price appears to hover around $60 most of the time). There was a noticeable decrease in road noise and improvement on the mid bass output of my coaxial speakers. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it! I also puchasedthis roller https://www.amazon.com/LUMITECO-Autom... If you need door panel clips, the Toyota part is: https://parts.longotoyota.com/oem-par... These are cheaper, and may work: https://www.amazon.com/Kinstecks-Reta... but I have not tried them myself. All the other tools used were common ones that I already had. The song played when testing the speakers was:    • Go to Hell   by Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband See also my videos on replacing the front and rear door speakers and powered subwoofer in this car:    • 2005 Toyota Matrix Rear Door Speaker Upgra...      • 2005 Toyota Matrix Front Door Speaker Upgr...      • JBL Basspro SL Powered Subwoofer Underseat...   This information may also apply to Toyota Corolla and Pontiac Vibe models as well.
