Joachim Meyer - Where to begin when learning his system.
Joachim Meyer is a popular place to start when getting into HEMA. He published one of the first books on fencing that was written for the beginner. However he is a wordy guy and there is a lot of material. Choosing a weapon such as longsword or dussack may seem like the best way to go but honestly it isn't. In this video we suggest a general course of action for the study of Meyer's art based on our years of experience with the material.
