The BEST Theme Park in the World (with NO Rides!) - Tips for Van Camping + Visiting Puy Du Fou

We're at Puy Du Fou, a theme park that's totally ride-free but still AMAZING! They say it's the best in the world, and we were confused about that too until we checked it out. We took our van and camped in the Puy Du Fou aire (it's not really a campsite - more of an aire or camping car park), sharing some tips and our fave shows from our two-day adventure. There's so much to see, but we found ways to make the most of our time so you can catch all the shows, navigate easily, and keep things as stress free as possible. We picked a couple of the shows to share, just to give a flavour. But didn't record the rest, as honestly you have to see it to believe it. Would recommend the @puydufou channel if you wanted to see any insight into the other shows though. The camping aire is HUGE, fitting over 800 vans/motorhomes/campervans, plus it has some facilities we talk about at the end of the vlog. Some which jar a little with park4night reviews. We were worried about not being able to book, but even arriving on a Saturday in the height of summer wasn't an issue and really fits in with our tour of France. If you have any questions please do ask away. Appreciate this vlog is short and sweet, but hopefully gives you a taste of what Puy Du Fou is all about. We certainly would visit again, would you? Tips from our visit: 1. If you can get the Pass Emotion to skip the lines, but remember to pick it up on the gate. Sounds daft but we weren't the only ones 2. Download the app - it works pretty well to help you schedule but the map works well for finding things on the move. Bonus tip: link to the wifi and you can use the app to translate the shows too 3. There is a lot to see between the shows and lots of places to eat too - we took a packed lunch and there were lots of places to stop to eat 4. Arrive early to the shows: queues are big but organised, arrive 10 mins before if you have the emotion pass or 30 mins for other shows 5. Motorhome aire: some of the first rows are wonky, the ones between and nearer the back are better but you bring levelling ramps. You can park for free in the day, looks to be 7 hours or so, and you pay when you leave so keep the ticket. If you are not self contained time your visit for the washing up, showers etc. If not there are three motorhome service points but no other taps. Electric hook ups seem to be plentiful but obviously if you are parked near lots of motorhomes that need it this is first come first served 6. Go back into the park for the night show - honestly it is absolutely astounding. It will have you in awe and wondering how on earth it works - like how?
