Can an Atari 5200 gaming console from 1982 be a real 3D graphics workstation?

Maybe! There's only 16KB RAM, but the cartridges have up to 32KB of ROM, plenty of space for floating point code, (which I don't use here) scaled integer trig and logarithm lookup tables, pretty much anything you need. These programs are running on an emulated Atari 800 with 48KB RAM, but that 48KB also has to hold DOS, the program code, etc. etc., but maybe they could be cleaned up a bit, compiled to a ROM image, and run in 16KB on a 5200 Chapters, sort of, 0:20 Rotating wireframe "Space Shuttle" with perspective projection 6:50 Rotating fractal "Shadow Vessel" with isometric projection
