Van Life in Iceland in a 4x4 G Wagon Overlanding BEAST

This series is going to be a wild one :) We spent 2 weeks in Lou's cousin's military grade 4x4 Mercedes G-wagon. This van was the perfect vehicle for us to do van life in Iceland. It was completely offroad capable with 4wd which let us spend the majority of our trip overlanding. We crossed rivers. (Guys, river crossings are intense!) Drove through blizzards. And really tried to get off road in Iceland as much as possible (while actually still staying on the roads since it's illegal to go off the path in Iceland - gotta protect that moss!) What do you think about van life in Iceland? Is it worth facing the elements to see a landscape as incredible as this? I definitely think the answer is YES!
