Walking the Footsteps of the Prophet ﷺ | From Masjid an Nabawi to Masjid Quba in Madinah

Today I had the blessing of walking the Sunnah path from Masjid an Nabawi to Masjid Quba here in Madinah 🤍 This walk is such a beautiful experience to have in the holy city. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself used to make this walk every Saturday, and he encouraged us to do the same. He said: “Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Masjid Quba and prays in it, he will have the reward like that of an ‘Umrah.” (Sunan Ibn Mājah 1412, Ṣaḥīḥ) Visitors can walk or take a golf cart along this path, but today I decided to walk — stretching my legs after traveling almost 24 hours, and taking in the sights and sounds of Madinah. 🌿 In this video, I’ll show you the full walk from Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet’s Mosque) to Masjid Quba, share tips about where to start (Gate 310), what to expect along the way, and the feeling of connecting back to the Seerah by following in the footsteps of our Messenger ﷺ. There truly is no place like Madinah — and no feeling like walking this Sunnah path 🤍 ✨ Don’t forget: If you ever visit Madinah, make sure to include this walk in your trip and pray 2 rakah in Masjid Quba for the reward of an Umrah in sha Allah.
