Lectric XP 2.0 Ebike (RVing At Maumee Bay!)

Welcome back to Wandering Wagners! In this episode we received 2 Lectric EBikes to test out and we decided to take them to Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon, Ohio where we camped in our Nexus Wraith Super C RV. Lectric bike link: lectricebikes.sjv.io/LP9vbj Lectric Ebikes recently contacted us and asked if we'd be willing to test out and give an unbiased opinion on their Ebikes. We figured it couldn't hurt to give them a try since ebikes are all the rage right now. We opted to get the Lectric EBike XP Step-Thru versions to test out. We unboxed them and found them to be packaged very well! Although they are close to 70 lbs per bike so you might want to keep that in mind if you are unboxing and moving them yourself. We plugged them in overnight to charge and when we woke up at 5AM they were fully charged and ready to ride. We loaded them up into the back of Lynn's 2 door Jeep Wrangler (which we removed the back seat in, on the day we bought the Jeep) and they folded up and perfectly fit in the Jeep! Off to Maumee Bay State Park we went to celebrate Lynn's birthday weekend. We wanted to go to a campground with lots of pavement, trails, and different terrain to try the bikes on to see how they'd perform. They seemed to handle everything with very little effort. Pavement, grass, gravel, sand etc. The pedal assist was pretty handy, but I chose not to use it when starting off, but you can turn it up and down on the fly. It also has a headlight and cruise control! How cool is that?! We ended up putting about 15 miles on the ebikes in a day! We rode up to the beach on the shores of Lake Erie, and the inland beach (which the water was much warmer) right across from the Lake beach area. We did get hit with a few rainstorms which dampened some of our activities, but we still were able to have campfires, and even make some birthday campfire strawberry pies! We got to spend a lot of quality time together enjoying the outdoors and getting bitten by mosquitoes! Haha It just isn't Summer camping without rain and mosquitoes. We even got a pretty great lightning lightshow on Saturday night right before the rain put out our campfire and sent us inside the rest of the night. Overall, we had a great birthday camping trip testing our the step thru Lectric Ebikes XP on the trails and once again we had a great time in our 2020 Nexus Wraith 34W Super C RV!
