Iriana Jokowi is the first First Lady to be granted permission to enter the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This was confirmed by the Indonesian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Agus Maftuh Abegebriel. Previously, no women were permitted to enter the Prophet Muhammad's house and tomb, added Agus Maftuh Abegebriel. Agus Maftuh Abegebriel also stated that President Jokowi cried while reciting prayers in front of the Prophet Muhammad's tomb. While at the Prophet's Mosque, President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana had the opportunity to visit the tombs of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Umar bin Khattab, and Abu Bakr al-Siddiq on Monday, April 15, 2019. ==================== Not only was they honored to be invited and hosted by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, at the King's private palace in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, President Jokowi and his family were also invited to enter the Kaaba and received a special escort from Saudi Arabian soldiers while performing the Umrah pilgrimage. Furthermore, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman also invited President Jokowi to Riyadh.
