Destructive Severe Thunderstorm With Large & Spectacular Hail in Easton, Maryland - May 16th, 2025

A video montage of the destructive and dangerous severe thunderstorm that passed over Easton, Maryland in the early evening of Friday May 16th, 2025. At about 6pm, the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Talbot County, Maryland. As the line of storms approached from the west over the Chesapeake Bay, a supercell came from the northwest and crossed over Easton with hail up to ping pong ball sized. After about a ten minute lull, the main line of storms passed through with torrential rain, lightning, and high winds. Possibly rotating, the storm prompted a tornado warning issued for Dorchester and Wicomico counties. #severethunderstorm #hail #weather #meteorology #Easton #Maryland
