WHERE IN BRAZIL ARE YOU FROM? | Launch Event

We officially launched our new project “Where in Brazil Are You From? – Part 1”, made possible with the support of @heritagefunduk. 🎉 This project celebrates the vibrant stories and cultural heritage of Brazilians from the North, Midwest and Northeast of Brazil living here in the East Midlands, and we couldn’t be prouder to finally share it with our community! 💚💛💙 Our launch event was filled with colour, rhythm and emotion, featuring: 🎤 Inspiring words from our guest speakers: Marcia Porto, Newton Peres and Callun Douglas. 🥁💃 Maracatu performance with @batuketrovauk and dance performances by Maria Bonita Dance Co., showcasing traditions from the North, Northeast, and Midwest of Brazil. 🎶 And a beautiful live performance by our very own community band Tia Ciata.
