London's Burning (ITV 1991) - Lift surfing episode (suggest age rating 12+ :see description)

WARNING - VIDEO SUGGESTS COUNTER WEIGHT CUTS SOMEONE'S HEAD OFF, it doesn't "actually" show this, but the video may be unsuitable for younger children to watch. ---------------- I've been going through some of my old tapes. One has a few lift related stuff on it for the lift community here on YT! Hope you like them. "Blue Watch are called out to a gruesome accident in a block of flats where a youth is decapitated after mucking about with his mate on the roof of the lift. The blood-soaked body is discovered at the bottom of the lift shaft" ----------- "This ain't right": The lift door changes from being a single opening door on the ground, to a double opening door on the upper levels. You can see double doors down the lift shaft! Also, the suspended ceiling in the upper floor lift lobby looks a bit out of place for a block of flats - looks like this bit was filmed in an office. AND... in the motor room there is a breaker for lifts 'A','B' and 'C' (3 lifts), whereas most blocks have only two lifts. ------------ Clips from "Out Of Order" a film from 1984 is coming soon! - this 'IS' cool, with an old gearless grotty motor room in it.
