.177 vs .22 vs .25 at 10 to 35 metres
Was not expecting these results and the mighty .25 did much better than expected, it is a fair bit slower than the others but retains much more energy at distance which helps it carry the extra weight of the massive pellet and is more than capable at UK legal sub 12 power levels. I'm guessing at greater distances then the .177 will be better at target work and the .22 better for pest control. After much head scratching trying to work out how a .25 managed to shoot flatter than a .22 I double checked all the power levels and the .22 had dropped to 10 ft/lb so was a bit unfair in the comparison, the .25 and .177 where still around 11.6 ft/lb.
