Amy Carmichael - A missionária que libertou crianças de diversos @bus😶s
Amy Carmichael, a young Irish woman with fragile health, overcame physical and cultural limitations to become one of the greatest missionaries in history. Converted at 15, she dedicated her life to Christian service, helping the marginalized and rescuing children in India. She founded the Dohnavur Fellowship, offering love, care, and education to children rescued from abuse. Inspired by Hudson Taylor, Amy lived a life of total surrender to God, facing challenges with courage and faith. Fluent in Tamil, she connected deeply with the Indian people, who called her "Amma" (mother). Even bedridden in her final years, she continued to lead and write, leaving a legacy of compassion and service. Amy died in 1951, after 55 years in India, without ever returning to her homeland.
