We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando and here’s our full honest review! From the rooms and pool to the FREE Express Pass perks, we’re breaking down whether this premier Universal hotel is actually worth the price. If you’re planning a trip to Universal Orlando Resort, this video covers everything you need to know before booking Hard Rock Hotel — including pros, cons, location, and insider tips. This was our first time staying at this hotel and it’s also the closest hotel to the parks. You have your own dedicated entrance to get to CityWalk. Hard Rock Hotel is an expensive place to stay. We got blessed andfou d the room about half off so we booked it. We were in a standard two queen bed room but somehow we ended up having a pool view, which was nice! As far as food on property, every spot is expensive. Our snacks were very pricey! The hotel has good theming but overall, it is just a normal room on the inside. The pool is large and nice and the outside of the Hard Rock Hotel is very pretty. The biggest perk staying here is the fact that you get express passes included in your stay. The express passes can be used on check in day and each day that you stay, even the day you check out. This is a huge value to your stay as you will be able to slip the lines on any of the rides in the parks. We got to experience this and it was great!
