“The Golden A” 1929 Ford Model A Hot Rod Transformation: Episode 1, The Gameplan
Meet Terry and Kerry McFarland, a pair of Summit Racing employees who—spoiler alert—happen to be really, really good at building hot rods and show cars. They’ve recently acquired a solid 1929 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan body that they plan on turning into a street rod. But not just any street rod—the 1929 Model A will be modeled after one that Terry had in his high school days, albeit with one notable exception: this new build will feature an early Chrysler Hemi V8 under the cowl. Best of all, the father/son team is nice enough to let our Summit Racing camera crew tag along to watch the build progress. So check out the first installment in this series as we introduce you to the McFarlands and you’ll get a glimpse of where this Model A street rod build is heading. Thinking about building your own street rod? Here’s a great place to start: https://www.summitracing.com/redirect...
