What began as a simple filming visit quickly escalated when officers questioned the auditor’s presence, demanded sign-in details, and then moved to arrest both individuals for alleged trespass. Throughout the encounter, the auditor remained verbally compliant and repeatedly stated that security had invited them in. The auditor also claimed to have footage on camera proving that entry had been allowed, but officers continued with the detention and handcuffing process instead of reviewing the footage there and then.
