🌧️ Alston to the Pennine Way… until sideways rain defeated us! | UK Walk & Wild Weather Adventure

Join us as we set off from the beautiful market town of Alston, ready for a damp but determined walk toward the Pennine Way. The trail started out promising—village views, rolling hills, moody skies, that classic North Pennines charm—but it didn’t take long before the weather dialled itself up to “sideways rain” level. Rain? Brutal. Visibility? Questionable. Morale? Surprisingly high… for a while. 😂 Eventually the rain won, and we made the executive decision to turn back before we turned into prunes. Even though we didn’t make it to the full stretch of the walk, it was still an adventure!
