70mai A810 4K HDR (Sony IMX678 Sensor) Dashcam Review - With Day / Night Test Footage In this video, I take a look at the A810 4K HDR dashcam by 70mai. I have recently changed to an older vehicle and have always wanted a dashcam to get some footage of the mountains as I am driving to and from my camp locations. I also wanted some protection against the rise in fraudulent insurance claims! The A810 offers easy installation (hard wire it for the best features) with superior image quality from a new Sony sensor. The optional hard wiring kit enables SMART parking mode with AI threat detection, but this needs the camera to be hard wired. Other features such as suspicious activity around your vehicle and unusual forces during parking will activate the camera. I'll let you make your own mind up from the footage - which is unedited. There are many great features, including ADAS and AI based safety features along with security features which monitor for threats when your vehicle is locked and secure. With a partner app, you can remotely monitor your vehicle location and get a live view, along with GPS data. You can also chance settings and download clips via the WIFI hotspot mode to the app. All in all, a good package with great picture quality and safety features. Things I liked: -Image quality Quick to install (not hardwire) Feature rich Quick GPS lock time and nice overlays for downloaded videos Night footage in 4K is superb Affords peace of mind when driving and offers AI based threat detection when the vehicle is locked Things I didn't like: Kit needs to be hard wired into your vehicle to make the most of the features and to keep wires hidden.
