1999 GHOST ENCOUNTER - THE RETURN | Paranormal House Call

The return to my childhood haunting. This was my home away from home. My best friend growing up lived at this house, we were really close friends starting around 1988 through college. Back in 1999 while in college (19 years old), we travelled to Louisville for The Kentucky Derby and I ended up staying the weekend at my buddy's house. This was my first and only actual ghost (or spirit) encounter. I was sleeping in one of the spare bedrooms and while sleeping I felt something tug at my left leg. I brushed it off, but seconds later it felt like my leg was grabbed and pulled. This woke me up and I rolled onto my back. I looked up and ghost was floating at the end of my bed. The ghost was in his upper teens or in his twenties. The ghost was dressed in tan/dirty pants and a dirty brown shirt. He was pale looking. The best way to describe the ghost is Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. There were some other crazy haunting discoveries made when we were kids which I try to explain but really can't elaborate due to YT compliance. The image of "Shaggy the Ghost" is burned into my memory since 1999. My buddy is aware of our YT Paranormal Channel (GHP) and that we investigate basically anything haunted or paranormal. He told his mom, Debbie, and she called me and asked to investigate her house. I inquired about what has been going on at the house since I haven't been there for over 20 years. Debbie told me that she's been hearing people walking the steps and upstairs. She said that her purses would be on the floor the next day. She mentioned a shadow figure in the basement. All of this is discussed during the initial paranormal interview. During our investigation we explored and investigated the entire house, including something we call "The Pit" which a place no one should go into. We had all ghost devices to detect paranormal activity. This house definitely has some type of paranormal haunting associated with it. I believe it stems from the family that lived there before they bought the house in the 1980's. There was a group of brothers ranging from 16-22 that basically ran that house. They painted a pentagram in the basement and may have brought the spirits to the house. After the investigation and watching the video, I think I may have pieced together a possible theory. I doubt Debbie, the owner of the haunted house, will be happy about my theory. I'll possibly elaborate in community notes.
