WHY YOU MUST BE BAPTIZED IN JESUS NAME, NOT FATHER SON AND HOLY SPIRIT

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded saying: “Go...and teach…baptizing them in the NAME of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Some people interpret that to mean they are supposed to baptize repeating that phrase word-for-word - NOT REALIZING that when Jesus said to baptize in the NAME, that the word “NAME” is the Greek word “onoma” which means the name of one certain, specific, identified, named individual! In this video, we’ll examine the Greek words and grammar, and I’ll show you that the word for “name” (onoma) can only be satisfied by a proper name/noun which is the name of one specific, named, identified individual - and that the words father, son and ghost are COMMON, unspecific, generic nouns and CANNOT in any way fulfil the Greek word “onoma”!! Not only that, but we will also see how in Acts 2:38 that the Apostle Peter, who was given the keys of the Kingdom by Jesus Christ himself, actually fulfilled Matthew 28:19 and Luke 24:47 by showing that the NAME (onoma) Jesus spoke of in Matthew 28:19 – was NONE OTHER THAN THE NAME JESUS!!
