Heuer D.R.P. vise slide repair talk - what to do and to look out for!

Over the summer I had the urge to fix the worn out ways on my big Heuer D.R.P. No. 6 - even though I don't have a mill, only a crappy welder, and a set of good files. I tried this and that, failed doing these, then added in mistakes - and actually got some results! I want you to fare better, so I compiled this little screen presentation that might help you along the way. Please excuse my noisy mouse, I didn't notice it and its cable hitting a plastic stand.
