When Prof Banjo Imported Weapons to Overthrow Abacha | Adesegun Banjo | Edmund Obilo | State Affairs
Professor Adesegun Banjo, a medical doctor and scientist, invested his life savings to purchase high calibre weapons to overthrow the dictatorship of General Sani Abacha , Head of State of Nigeria (1993-1998). His plan was to launch a guerrilla warfare to save Nigeria from destruction. Prof Banjo died in 2019. He was the younger brother of Colonel Victor Banjo who was executed during the Nigerian Civil War. In this 2016 interview, he explained the plot against Abacha. #StateAffairs #WarAgainstDictatorship
