Prague, Capital City of Czechia is home to the largest collection, in the world, of Tatra T3 trams in many different variations. The early T3R.P conversions built at Pars nova in Sumperk (8211-8245) and in Prague's own Central Tramcar Workshops (8300-8345). The more modern thyristor (chopper) controls emit a high pitch whine similar to Blackpool's centenary cars and are nicknamed "miaows" as a result.
