WAHTN Webinar Recording

The WAHTN CCIProgram hosted a Webinar for all in the WA research sector – researchers, consumers and community, Institutions, heath services, Government and research funders – to celebrate the upcoming launch in early May of the new Statement on Consumer and Community Involvement in Health and Medical Research from the NHRMC and Consumer Health Forum. We discussed the expectations of the Statement, what is different to the 2016 Statement and importantly, what your response should be regarding roles and responsibilities, values and principles. The Webinar was hosted by Chair, WAHTN Board Professor Steve Webb with speakers; Anne McKenzie AM, NHMRC-MRFF Consumer Advisory Group Deb Langridge, NHMRC Research Committee, NHMRC-MRFF Consumer Advisory Group and WAHTN CCIProgram.
