Rees-Zammit Quits Rugby for NFL | Smart or Dumb Move?

The Welsh and Gloucester Rugby flyer has hung up his rugby boots for the moment, to potentially join the NFL and pursue his child hood dream. Rees-Zammit received the call from the States on Sunday evening, the 14th of January and wasted no time in making a decision and made his announcement to the rugby world just 2 days later. The 22 year old already has 32 caps for Wales and is a capped British and Irish Lion and although his decision has been seriously unpopular in the rugby community, particularly with the Welsh, there is no doubt should Rees-Zammit’s attempt at making it in the NFL go horribly wrong, he will likely get snapped up by a long list of teams in the UK, France or Japan, so he's probably not too worried about a few grumpy supporters.
