Eastern Sierra - Chasing Volcanoes, High Summits, and Gold Miner Cabins

A June 23-July 1, 2026 excursion up to the east side of the Sierra, to explore volcanic activity up & down the Long and Owens Valleys and to get up 13,417' to the top of Mt. Lamarck, then to take advantage of a brief cooler spell to dip down to the Mojave desert in summer to climb another peak and stay the night in an old gold miner cabin! Damn good times on this one.
