Shooting Lacrosse with the Sony A7V and the Sony 400-800G lens
I shot a Lacrosse match last week and wanted to share the photos I took with the new Sony A7V and the newish 400-800mm f/6.3-8G lens. The combination for field sports is tremendous and allows you to truly cover the entire field as one shooter. I even punched in from 800mm to 1200mm a few times by zooming on sensor. You think having that long of a lens is crazy until you shoot the outfield in baseball, soccer, LAX, etc... The pitch is massive and great plays are happening on all areas of it.
